Secunderabad

Secunderabad/sɪkəndərˈɑːbɑːd/([sikŋdɾaːbaːd] (About this soundlisten), additionally spelled some of the time as Sikandar-an awful) is the twin city of Hyderabad situated in the Indian territory of Telangana. Named after Sikandar Jah, the third Nizam of the Asaf Jahi tradition, Secunderabad was set up in 1806 as a British cantonment.
